In my photographic project, TRAVEL(POETRY), I have set out to capture the beauty and diversity of the German landscape through the windows of speeding ICE trains. My aim is to create a dynamic and ever-changing photographic portrait of Germany.
As I photograph, the blur of the landscape racing by the train is captured, creating a sense of motion and energy. The resulting images are abstract and impressionistic, evoking the feeling of traveling through the landscape at high speed. Through this project, I showcase the diversity of the German landscape, from the rugged mountains of the south to the expansive plains of the north, highlighting how the country's infrastructure – its trains, railway lines, and roads – shapes and connects the landscape.
Beyond the visual impact, my project holds a deeper meaning. I want to illustrate that the train is not just a mode of transportation but a way to experience and appreciate the beauty of the land.
Overall, TRAVEL(POETRY) is my unique and thought-provoking exploration of the relationship between technology, infrastructure, and nature. My photographs offer a new perspective on the German landscape and a novel way to experience it.
