TOMORROW AIN'T PROMISED is a collaborative project between myself and my artist friend, Adrian Falkner, also known as SMASH137. Initiated in 2007, our goal was to create a series of photographs that encapsulate the essence of writing within the graffiti movement.

We identified three core motivations that we believed were fundamental to anyone engaging in this art form: action, networking, and fame. These elements resonated deeply with us and shaped our involvement in the graffiti community. To represent each of these motivations, we created a distinct set of six motifs, each set intricately designed to reflect the corresponding reason. This project is a visual exploration of the driving forces behind graffiti writing, capturing the spirit and passion that fuel this dynamic art form.
